With gratitude for your children and this community

Dear families,

As the new year approaches, I want to take a moment to share with you that I will be starting a new job in January with Breakthrough as the College Access Program Manager. This was not an easy decision, because working with your children has been one of the most meaningful experiences of my life. Every day I’ve spent with them has reminded me of the importance of creating safe spaces filled with care, learning, and joy.

I have had the privilege of watching your children grow, build confidence, discover new skills, and form friendships that I hope will stay with them for many years. Every moment we have shared has left a deep mark on my heart. Walking alongside them as they grow has been a true honor and a responsibility I will always carry with me.

Although I will be leaving my role as Elementary Programs Coordinator, I want to assure you that this is not goodbye. I will stay close to the community and plan to remain involved as a volunteer whenever possible. This program, your families, and especially your children are very important to me, and I hope to continue supporting you in any way I can.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for trusting me with what is most precious to you: your children. Thank you for your constant support, your communication, and your kindness throughout this journey. I feel deeply grateful for the memories we have shared together.

I will always carry this special group with me, and I hope to keep seeing the children dream and achieve everything they set their minds to.

With much love and gratitude,

Sarah Arce
