A Season of Connection
A few months ago, I shared that Homework Club was seeing a dip in attendance. But in recent weeks, more students have been returning and new faces are joining too.
What makes this moment so special is our volunteers. They’re not just helping with homework; they’re building deep, one-on-one relationships that make our kids feel seen, heard, and valued.
You can feel it when a child lights up at the sight of their favorite volunteer. You hear it in the stories they share and the confidence they carry.
It’s a reminder that impact isn’t always measured in numbers. Sometimes, it’s in the quiet, consistent care that fills a room and in the trust that builds one visit at a time.
Casa Unidos is becoming a place where every child feels at home and that’s because of you.
